LegalOn Technologies, the developer of the AI-powered contract review platform “LegalForce,” announced on June 23 that it has raised approximately ¥13.7 billion (about USD 91 million) in its Series D funding round. With this latest round, the company’s total equity financing now amounts to approximately ¥17.9 billion (about USD 120 million). Key investors in this round include SoftBank, Goldman Sachs, Mitsubishi UFJ Capital, and Mizuho Capital.
LegalOn, a startup behind the AI legal platform of the same name, is on a mission to eliminate inefficiencies in cross-border legal operations. Positioned as a “World-Leading Legal AI”, LegalOn aims to transform every hour spent on legal work into time for deeper thinking, decisive action, and driving results.
The platform offers robust features to support contract review, legal consultation, and workflow automation. One of its highlights is LegalOn Assistant, an AI-powered chatbot that can answer user queries about contracts uploaded to the platform, based on custom instructions and questions.
