Together with contributions from other investors, Kakehashi has secured a total of approximately \u00a514 billion in its Series D funding round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Founded in 2017, Kakehashi offers a suite of products for pharmacies, including Musubi<\/em>, a cloud-based electronic medication record and guidance tool. The company\u2019s solutions now cover over 20% of pharmacies in Japan, with more than 14,000 locations nationwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In response to recent amendments to Japan\u2019s Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Act (PMD Act) and revisions to medical service fees, Kakehashi\u2019s platform has become a key driver of next-generation pharmacy transformation.
